EuroHockey Club Champions Cup 1983 (men, field)
The tenth official of the European Hockey Federation discharged Euro Hockey Club Champions Cup of the men in hockey took place from 20 to 23 May 1983 in the Netherlands The Hague instead. Eight clubs from eight countries took part in the A division. The European Cup winner was the representative of the Soviet Union defending champion Dinamo Alma-Ata , who prevailed in the final as in the previous year against the host HC Klein Zwitserland . The countries of the six best-placed clubs qualified for the 1984 EuroHockey Club Champions Cup . The last two nations played a year later in the B division (later called Club Trophy).

EuroHockey Club Champions Trophy
The EuroHockey Club Champions Trophy, then still under the name B-Division, took place from May 20-23, 1983 in the Yugoslav city of Subotica . It formed the substructure for the EuroHockey Club Champions Cup. In addition to the title, the clubs also played for the promotion of their national associations for the following European Cup season.
