Eva Padberg (born January 27, 1980 in Bad Frankenhausen ) is a German model , singer and songwriter , presenter and actress .

Career

Padberg grew up in Rottleben near Bad Frankenhausen in Thuringia . In 1995, she ran for the Bravo Girl and Boy poll . She was among the first ten participants and was given the opportunity to test shots for Louisa Models in Munich . In 1998, after graduating from high school, she began her professional modeling career.

She worked for Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein in Paris , Tokyo and New York City and was shown at various ready-to-wear shows .

Padberg has been the face for the make-up brand Astor since 2003 . In 2005, Padberg advertised the soft drink brand Gletschereis in a TV commercial, became the new face of the South Korean automobile manufacturer Kia Motors , the cover face of Otto mail order company and a campaign model for Nintendo's " Nintendogs ". In 2007 she became the face of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin . She also presents the global brand Mercedes-Benz as an ambassador at other international fashion and lifestyle events.

Padberg is also the singer and songwriter of Dapayk & Padberg , a duo from the electronic club music scene. Together with her husband Niklas Wracht alias Dapayk , she released her first album Close Up on Mo's Ferry Prod record label in September 2005 , as well as many singles . Her second album black beauty was released in autumn 2007, followed by the third album Sweet Nothings (2012).

Since May 2019 she has been the advertising face of the TV station Home & Garden TV .

Padberg is committed to numerous charitable projects such as the SOS Children's Village . In autumn 2006 she traveled to Rwanda as UNICEF ambassador . In February 2011 she took over the patronage of a Ronald McDonald House in Berlin-Wedding.

Private life

On July 29, 2006, Padberg married the music producer Niklas Wracht after a ten-year partnership . She is the mother of one daughter and lives in Berlin .
