Eva Verena Müller (* 1979 in Darmstadt ) is a German actress .

Life

Education and theater

Eva Verena Müller completed her acting studies from 2000 to 2004 at the Folkwang University in Essen . During her training, she already worked in productions at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus and made guest appearances at the Rheinisches Landestheater Neuss .

Before graduating, she got her first permanent engagement at the Schlosstheater Moers , where she stayed until 2007 and played leading roles such as Ophelia and Antigone . For her portrayal of Ophelia she was named “Best Young Actress NRW” in 2004. In 2007 and 2008 she made guest appearances at the Schauspiel Bonn . In the 2008/09 season, Iphigenie was on tour in Iphigenie on Tauris with the Euro-Studio Landgraf .

After working at the Schauspiel Leipzig and at the Theater unterm Dach in Berlin , where she played under the direction of Konstanze Lauterbach and Amina Gusner , she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the stages of Gera for two seasons from 2009 to 2011 .

In the 2010/11 season she appeared for the first time at the Schauspiel Dortmund . She made her debut in Dortmund in the production Visitor Q (director: Martin Laberenz ), which was invited to the NRW-Theatertreffen in 2011. Since the 2011/12 season she has been a permanent member of the Dortmund Schauspiel ensemble. At the opening of the 2011/12 season she played Christine Linde in Ibsens Nora (director: Kay Voges ). In the following seasons she was there u. a. in productions by Marcus Lobbes , Andreas Beck and Claudia Bauer on stage. In the 2012/13 season she played Aunt Abby Brewster in a stage version of the classic film Arsenic and Lace Cap , directed by Peter Jordan . In Kay Voges' production of Hamlet (premiere: 2014/15 season) she embodied the title character. At the Dortmund Opera House she appeared in Philip Glass ' opera Einstein on the Beach (premiere: April 2017).

At the Staatstheater Hannover she took on the role of the devil Samiel in Der Freischütz (premiere: December 2015) in a production of the opera by Kay Voges, which was controversial among the audience, political representatives and critics.

In the 2018/19 season she was an actor in the simultaneous production of Die Parallelwelt , a co-production by Schauspiel Dortmund and the Berliner Ensemble , in which she also appeared as an author for the first time alongside director Kay Voges and Alexander Kerlin (dramaturgy / book).

Movie and TV

Eva Verena Müller has also appeared in front of the camera for several cinema and numerous television productions. She worked for the cinema a. a. with the directors Anja Jacobs and Caroline Link .

In the TV series Heiter bis tödlich: Koslowski & Haferkamp (2014) she played in a continuous supporting role Sylvia Koslowski, the ex-wife of the private investigator Martin Koslowski ( Sönke Möhring ). In the 10th season of the ZDF series SOKO Stuttgart (2018), she took on one of the main episode roles as controller of the health authority, from which Commissioner Stoll ( Peter Ketnath ) receives valuable information.

In the television series about the bailiff Billy Kuckuck (2019), she embodies the role of public prosecutor and lawyer Susanne Hartmann, the best friend of the main female character.

In the Rosamunde Pilcher film Der magische Bus (2019) broadcast as part of the ZDF “Herzkino” series , Müller, alongside Max Woelky and Jakob Graf , as a hotel employee and receptionist Eliza “Lizzie” Little, embodied “without Doo “, One of the main roles.
