Evamaria Salcher
Evamaria Salcher (born March 21, 1975 in Vienna ) is a German actress and radio play speaker .
Life
Evamaria Salcher took singing lessons from 1986 to 1993, followed by acting training at the Vienna Conservatory from 1993 to 1997 . Her first permanent engagement took her to the Saarbrücken State Theater from 2000 to 2002 , after which she was engaged at the Mannheim National Theater until 2006 , from where she moved to the Dresden State Theater , of which she was a member until 2009. In the same year Salcher went to the Schauspielhaus Bochum for one season , after which she worked as a freelancer and played at various German theaters such as the theaters in Lübeck , Bonn and Heidelberg , at the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg , at the Grillo Theater in Essen , and in Berlin at the Berliner Ensemble and on the Vaganten stage . Foreign guest appearances took her to Italy at the United Theaters in Bozen and the Lucerne Theater in Switzerland. She has been a member of the Schauspielhaus Graz ensemble since the 2015/16 season .
Well-known roles of Salcher have been Franziska in Minna von Barnhelm by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing , Princess Eboli in Don Karlos and Lady Milford in Kabale und Liebe , both by Friedrich Schiller , the title character in Henrik Ibsen’s play Nora , Regan in William Shakespeare’s drama King Lear or the Ginevra in Merlin or The desert land of Tankred Dorst .
Salcher first worked in front of the camera in the mid-1990s. In 2000 she was in the German-Austrian Heimatfilm Da where the mountains are as Katharina Sandgruber , she also played this role in the follow-up productions made until 2009. She had guest appearances in crime series such as Die Rosenheim-Cops or SOKO Donau .
Since the mid-2000s, Salcher has also repeatedly worked as a radio play speaker.
