The Expressway 451 is a freeway in South Korea . The highway forms the western bypass of the city of Daegu and runs between Expressway 45 and Expressway 1 . The highway is 30 kilometers long.
Street description
South of Daegu, Expressway 451 begins at the cross with Expressway 45, which comes from Changwon on the south coast and continues into the interior of the country. The motorway has 2x2 lanes and then crosses Expressway 12 . After this motorway junction, the motorway runs westwards along the city of Daegu and partly with a local expressway running parallel to it. And then ends on Expressway 1 and Expressway 55 .
history
The highway was opened to traffic in two phases, the first on December 17, 1977 from Deagu to the south and on June 28, 1984 to the north. In 1998 part of the road was widened to 2x3 lanes and on August 25, 2001 it was renamed from Expressway 45 to Expressway 451. In 2006 part of the road was widened to 2x5 lanes.
