Fifth Season
As a fifth season a few days to weeks is sustained period referred to in which an event takes place, so strongly influenced the rhythm of life of many people, as usually only the changing of the four seasons is doing. - The Hanover Schützenfest is referred to as the fifth season in the Hanover region . The largest shooting festival in the world lasts 10 days and always begins on the "Friday before the first Monday in July".
- In Oldenburg , the Kramermarkt Oldenburg is known as the fifth season . The grocery market starts on a Friday between September 26th and October 2nd and lasts for ten days.
- In Peine the " Peiner Freischießen " is called the fifth season. The city festival with roots from the 16th century takes place annually on the weekend of the first Sunday in July.
- In Vechta , the stubble market in mid-August is the fifth season.
