The rock castle Vranov , today mostly just called Skály or Skála (German Wranow ), is located near Malá Skála ( Kleinskal ) in the Český ráj ( Bohemian Paradise ) in the Czech Republic . A whole series of hewn rooms, passages, stairs, beam rebates and the castle fountain are still preserved from the medieval rock castle. The complex, which is several 100 meters long, is considered to be the most spacious and largest rock castle in Bohemia . In the 19th century a pantheon (Czech: Panteon) was set up inside the castle complex.
