The nature reserve Finowtal – Pregnitzfließ lies in the area of the Barnim district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1601 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of December 6, 2006 . The 1821 hectare nature reserve, through which the Finow , Finow Canal and Pregnitz River flow , extends to the west and east of the A 11 north of the city center of Biesenthal . The L 31 state road runs to the west, the L 29 to the south, the Oder-Havel Canal on the northwestern edge and the B 167 on the northeastern edge . Are in the nature reserve of 42 ha large Large Samithsee , the 8.9-hectare Lehnssee and 0.68 hectares of Black Lake , as well as the 16-hectare Bauersee , the 31-hectare Mittelprendensee which Eiserbuder lake and the Bukower lake .
