The Fliegerstaffel 13 was a squadron of the Swiss Air Force equipped with Northrop F-5 combat aircraft with militia pilots. Their home base during the dissolution was the Payerne military airfield . It was founded in 1925 under the name Fliegerkompanie 13 with Fokker CV on the Ambri military airfield . In 1940 Fliegerkompanie 13 switched to the Morane D-3800 and Morane D-3801 aircraft.
