The Rio Grande airport (officially Aeropuerto Internacional Gobernador Ramón Trejo Noel) is an Argentine airport near the city of Rio Grande in the province of Tierra del Fuego . It is the second major airport in Tierra del Fuego after Ushuaia Airport . In addition to being used as a civil airport, it is also used by the Argentine Navy . Río Grande Airport is officially named after Ramón Trejo Noel , an Argentine politician and governor of Tierra del Fuego Province.
