The airfield Anspach is a German aerodrome at Neu-Anspach in the Taunus .
The airfield is located north of Obernhain and the Hessenpark in the Hochtaunus district and is classified as a special landing site . It opened in 1957; One of the initiators was Herrmann Zitter.

Taunus flight festival
The two-day festival takes place on a weekend in late summer. Aerobatic demonstrations take place with vintage airplanes and flight models, among other things. Sightseeing flights and tandem jumps are also offered. There is a raffle of free flights with the sections of the admission tickets.
On August 29, 2009, an Aero L-29 Dolphin flown by Walter Eichhorn went down in the history of the airfield at the Taunus Flugfest . It was the first jet-powered aircraft that ever landed on the airfield.
Another highlight was repeated sightseeing flights with the traditional Lufthansa Junkers Ju 52 / 3m aircraft . The Ju 52 / 3m was flown by Lufthansa pilots, among others, who are also active in flying in Anspach.
