The Hünsborn airfield is a special airfield in the area of ​​the municipality of Wenden in the Olpe district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The field was opened in 1955 and is now used by the airfield community from the Hünsborn air sports club . Mainly the space is used for gliding .

Every year in June, the airfield festival takes place at the airfield.

In 2016 the resident aviation clubs Ferndorf-Lennestadt, Freudenberg and Netphen merged to form the Luftsportverein Hünsborn eV.

The nature reserve Kallerhöh and Limmicketal borders directly to the north of the airfield .
