The Grefrath-Niershorst airfield is a commercial airfield in the Viersen district and is located between the districts of Grefrath and Oedt .
In the summer there is intensive parachute jumping on and around the airfield.
The airfield is approved for aircraft up to 2 t , motor gliders , gliders and ultralight aircraft . The planes stationed there belong to a flight school for microlight flight, a powered flight group, a glider club and many private aircraft owners.
