The Wipperfürth-Neye airfield is a German airfield in the Neye district of the city of Wipperfürth . It is classified as a special landing site .
Flight operations
The runway (grass runway) is used for motor , aerobatics and glider operations by the local air sports clubs .
The airfield is approved for aircraft up to 2000 kg, three-axle UL , balloon flights and winch starts .

Others
Film set
At the Wipperfürth-Neye airfield, some scenes were shot for the film “Delicate Parasites” (with Robert Stadlober, among others ). Among other things, an old glider was set on fire. However, like many other scenes filmed at the airfield, this scene was deleted from the later film.
