Frank Vockroth (born December 22, 1962 in Hildesheim ) is a German actor .

Career

Frank Vockroth completed his acting training in Hamburg and Los Angeles ; He gained fame through his role Horst Kruse in the RTL production Ritas Welt . The series was awarded the German Television Prize in 2000 and the German Comedy Prize in 2000 and 2001 .

From January 2007 to February 2009 Frank Vockroth was seen in the ZDF series Notruf Hafenkante as Oberkommissar Bernd “Boje” Thomforde . Vockroth was on the main cast of the series since the first episode and left the series in the 59th episode. Since October 2011, Frank Vockroth has played the leading role of Chief Detective Jon Peterson in the ARD series Heiter bis tödlich: Nordisch bitter : Jon Peterson, a taciturn North Frisian who solves his cases with a good feel for the country and its people and suddenly with one "Colleagues" is confronted. The series was discontinued after only one season due to low ratings.
