Franz Wilhelm van den Wyenbergh

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Franz Wilhelm van den Wyenbergh (born May 14, 1854 in Kempen , † August 12, 1932 in Kevelaer ) was a goldsmith in Kevelaer.

Life

His father was the bookbinder Franz van den Wyenbergh in Kempen.

Before he entered the studio of the Kempen goldsmith Franz Xaver Hellner on December 1, 1881 , he worked in Münster . He was employed at Hellner until at least January 15, 1883. It is no longer known when he came to Kevelaer. In the files of the Kevelaer City Archives he is documented in a document dated December 1, 1894, with which he applied to be behind his house on Hauptstrasse. No. 12 to set up a "goldsmith's workshop". The file is not complete, but it can be seen that objections from the building authorities initially spoke against the realization of the project.

In the address book for trade and commerce in the districts of Geldern, Cleve and Moers from 1897, however, it is actually listed in house number 12. In the address book of the district of Geldern 1910 he or his company is then listed as a goldsmith on Hauptstrasse. 23 registered.
