Freda Foh Shen
Freda Foh Shen (* before 1975) is an American film, television and theater actress .
Life
Foh Shen is known for her recurring television series roles, Dr. Noriko Weinstein in Palm Beach Duo (1993), Mrs. Lee in Gideon's Crossing (2000-2001), Dr. Chao in Everwood (2005) and Dr. Yolanda Perrin in Close to Home (2006-2007). Numerous other television series she has appeared in include Khan! (1975), Party of Five (1994/1996), Emergency Room - The Emergency Room (1998–1999), Chicago Hope - Endstation Hope (1997/1999), A Heavenly Family (1998/2000), JAG - On behalf of honor (1997/2004), Zeit der Sehnsucht (2008), Franklin & Bash (2011/2013) and Elementary (2012/2015).
Films she starred in include Pacific Overtures (1976), Thousand Pieces of Gold (1991), Daddy's Girl (1996), The American Virgin (1999), Planet of the Apes (2001), Red Doors (2005), The Mikado Project (2010) and Balls to the Wall (2011).
In English, she also lent her voice to the characters Fa Li in Mulan (1998) and Mulan 2 (2004) and Admiral Alice Liu in the computer game Star Trek: Bridge Commander (2002). In the 2008 film The Mummy: The Tomb of the Dragon Emperor , she spoke the narrator.
