Frieder Döring

Frieder Döring (actually Hans-Friedrich Döring ; born December 24, 1942 in Dattenfeld , Sieg ) is a German doctor and writer .

Life

Frieder Doering visited the school and put 1962 in Waldbröl the matriculation examination from. He studied medicine at the universities in Freiburg (Breisgau) , Bonn and Düsseldorf . Further training to become a specialist in dermatology took place in Düsseldorf . In 1970 he received his doctorate in medicine from the Technical University in Aachen . From 1974 Döring practiced as a specialist for skin and venereal diseases in Troisdorf .

In addition to his medical work, which is reflected in articles for scientific journals , Frieder Döring is literary. He is the author of stories , poems and plays ; he also works as an editor of anthologies . In 1989 he founded the Wolkenstein publishing house together with Bert Brune and Heinz Schüssler in Cologne . He is a member of the “ Literaturcafé Troisdorf ” association and has published literary works in numerous anthologies and magazines, among others. a. in: Almanac of German Writers' Doctors (Ed. From 1993 to 2002 Frieder Döring worked actively on vacation assignments with the German Doctors , twice in the mountain villages on the Philippines island of Mindanao and seven times in the slums of Asunción , the capital of Paraguay . In 1993 he was welcomed by the then Federal President Richard von Weizsäcker as the organization’s 1000th emergency physician and adopted into the mission.

Frieder Döring is married, father of six children, grandfather of ten grandchildren and lives in Schladern .
