Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst Peters (born March 1, 1812 in Neuhaus near Landsberg , later Soldin district ; † after 1874, presumably in Liegnitz ) was a German government official and from 1853 to 1858 the district president of the Prussian administrative district of Minden in the province of Westphalia .

Life

Peters completed his Abitur in 1829 with the certificate of Reife No. I at Stargard High School . He then studied law for 6 semesters at the University of Berlin . On June 15, 1832, he passed his auscultation exam at the Berlin Higher Regional Court with the note “fully qualified as an auscultator”. On April 10, 1834, he passed his examination to become a government trainee lawyer with the Stettin government with the grade “excellent good”. On April 14, 1838, he passed the government assessor exam . On September 14, 1832 he was appointed auscultator at the Berlin Court of Appeal. On May 6, 1833 he got a job as an auscultator at the Higher Regional Court of Stettin . On May 2, 1834, he became a government trainee lawyer with the Stettin government . Four years later, on May 2, 1838, he became a government assessor in the Frankfurt / Oder government . From there he moved to the district of Liegnitz on June 23, 1838 . On November 13, 1841 he was recalled to the Koenigsberg government and was employed by the local police chief, and the same from February 26, 1843 by the police chief in Berlin. On June 24, 1845, Peters was appointed a councilor. On June 23, 1849 he became police chief in Koenigsberg . On December 6, 1853, he was finally promoted to President of the Minden government . On November 29, 1858, Peters was put into temporary retirement (victim of the New Era ). He was retired on April 8, 1874.

Private

Peter's father was a chief forester . Peters was a Protestant denomination and married to the factory owner's daughter Karoline Christine Wilhelmine Kittelmann from Liegnitz.
