Friedrichsfelde (Polish Rzędów ) is a village in Upper Silesia . Friedrichsfelde is located in the municipality of Turawa in the Powiat Opolski (Opole district) in the Polish Voivodeship of Opole . Friedrichsfelde has been officially bilingual (Polish and German) since 2012.

Geographical location
Friedrichsfelde is located in the historical region of Upper Silesia in the Opole region . The place is located seven kilometers east of the municipality Turawa and 17 kilometers northeast of the district town and voivodeship capital Opole ( Opole ).
The place is in the Nizina Śląska ( Silesian Plain ) within the Równina Opolska ( Opole Plain ). The Turawa lake is located south of Friedrichsfelde .

history
The place Friedrichsfelde was founded as a colony in the 18th century. After the reorganization of the province of Silesia which belonged to rural community Friedrichsfelde from 1816 to district Opole in the administrative district of Opole . In 1840 the colony had 224 inhabitants. In 1845 there were 30 houses in the village. In the same year 224 people lived in Friedrichsfelde, one of them Protestant. In 1865 the place had 20 colony, 3 gardening and 5 cottage jobs, and a Catholic school is also mentioned at this time. In 1874 the Turawa district was founded, which consisted of the rural communities of Friedrichsfelde, Groß Kottorcz, Klein Kottorcz, Kobyllno and Turawa and the manor districts Kobyllno and Turawa.
In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 76 eligible voters voted to remain with Germany and 79 for Poland. Friedrichsfelde remained with the German Empire . In 1933 there were 268 inhabitants. In 1939 the place had 276 inhabitants. Until 1945 the place was in the district of Opole .
In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration and was renamed Rzędzów and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the re-established Powiat Opolski. In 2009 the place name was changed to Rzędów. On March 8, 2012, the place was also given the official German place name Friedrichsfelde .
