Fritz Rudolf body
Fritz Rudolf Körper (born November 14, 1954 in Rehborn ) is a German politician ( SPD ).
From 1990 to 2013 he was a member of the German Bundestag and from 1998 to 2005 Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of the Interior and from 2005 to 2009 Deputy Chairman of the SPD parliamentary group .
Life and work
After graduating from high school in 1974, Körper studied Protestant theology at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz , which he completed in 1982 with the theological examination at the Evangelical Church of the Palatinate . Since 2014, he and Sebastian Warnemünde have been running the company friedrich30 - an international company based in Berlin , Brussels and Mainz , which, among other things, represents the political interests of companies and advises and supports its clients in business development .
Political party
He has been a member of the SPD since 1973. From 1990 to 2010, Körper was chairman of the SPD district association in Bad Kreuznach and from 1990 to 2013 deputy chairman of the SPD regional association in Rhineland .

From 1979 to 1990, Körper was a member of the state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate and from 1979 to 1994 he was also a member of the municipal council of his home town of Rehborn.
From 1990 to 2013 he was a member of the German Bundestag . From 1994 to 1998 he held the position of domestic policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group. From 1998 to 2005, Körper was Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of the Interior, Otto Schily .
From November 28, 2005 to October 2009, Körper was deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group for domestic politics, law, sport, culture and media as well as rules of procedure. From the beginning of the 17th electoral term (2009-2013) he was a member of the Defense Committee . He was also a member of the Parliamentary Control Committee for eight years , which oversees the work of the Federal Intelligence Service (BND), the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) and the Military Counter-Intelligence Service (MAD).
Body was in the federal elections in 2005 and 2009 on the state list before always Rhineland-Palatinate and as directly selected delegates of the constituency Kreuznach in the Bundestag drawn in. In the 2013 Bundestag election he ran again for the constituency and ranked 12th on the state list, but was unable to win a Bundestag mandate. This means "the end" of his political career, said body.
