Fritz Goergen

Fritz Goergen , born as Fritz Fliszar (born December 31, 1941 in Niklasdorf , Styria ), is a German-Austrian publicist and consultant for strategic communication and communication strategies.

Life

Fliszar had lived in North Rhine-Westphalia since 1966, and in 1975 he became a German citizen . Fliszar was deputy manager of the FDP between 1975 and 1979 and federal manager until 1983 , from 1982 to 1992 chairman of the management of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation and its executive board until 1995. In 1998, Fliszar married and took the family name of his wife Barbara Goergen. In 2011 he went to Switzerland for five years before returning to Austria.

Goergen headed the FDP election campaign "Werkstatt 8" in the state election campaign in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2000 , in which the FDP was able to improve from 4.0 to 9.8 percent of the votes. In 2001, as a strategy consultant, he designed “ Strategy 18 ” for Jürgen Möllemann . In 2002 he became Guido Westerwelle's strategy advisor until he left the FDP after the 2002 federal election . Since then, Goergen has been working as a freelance communications consultant, publicist and media critic, initially in Cologne and later in Switzerland and Austria. He publishes, among other things, in the monthly magazine strangely free and in the magazine Tichys Insight , an online and print newspaper of the publicist Roland Tichy , where he writes the current column by Goergens Feder .
