Football at the Lusophonie Games
Football is part of the Lusophonie games ( Jogos da Lusofonia in Portuguese ), one of the sports that have been part of the program of the games since 2006. Participants in the football competition are national or national teams from the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries . As a rule, U23 selection teams take part, as in the Olympic Games . A tournament in women's football has not yet been played.
