Oceania Futsal Championship
Since 1992 is Oceania Football Confederation (OFC), the official Futsal -Ozeanienmeisterschaft (for national teams . English : OFC Futsal Championship ) held. The first final round was held in Brisbane , Australia . The tournament currently takes place every two years.
The tournament also serves as qualification for the Futsal World Cup every four years .
mode
The following mode currently applies: The game is played in two groups of four teams each in a simple round, everyone against everyone. The first and second group play the semi-finals crosswise. The two losers play for third place, the winners for the tournament victory. Earlier tournaments were also played in the pure league system. In 2011 all places were played out.
