Göttelbrunn is a district of the market Dachsbach in the Middle Franconian district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim .

Geographical location

The desert is surrounded by the Göttelbrunn ponds. The bridge ponds are around 500 meters to the west. A service road leads to a community road (0.6 km north) that runs to Traishöchstädt (1 km east) or to federal highway 470 (2 km west).

history

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 5 properties in Göttelbrunn. The high court and the village and community rule exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office Dachsbach . The landlords were the Brandenburg-Bayreuth administration Birnbaum (3 houses), the manor Rezelsdorf (1 estate) and the Nuremberg owner von Muffel (1 estate).

As part of the community edict, Göttelbrunn was assigned to the Kairlindach tax district formed in 1811, and from 1813 it belonged to the Birnbaum tax district . In the same year it was assigned to the newly formed rural community Traishöchstädt . On January 1, 1972 Göttelbrunn was incorporated into Dachsbach as part of the regional reform .

The place has been predominantly Evangelical-Lutheran since the Reformation. The inhabitants of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Marien (Dachsbach) , the inhabitants of the Roman Catholic denomination to St. Joseph (Weisendorf) .
