Traishöchstädt is a district of the market Dachsbach in the Middle Franconian district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim .

Geographical location

The cluster village is located between Neustadt and Höchstadt am Aschenbach, which flows three and a half kilometers northeast of the Aisch . To the south-west are the Aschenbachweiher and the Klingerweiher. A community road leads to Arnshöchstädt (1.6 km east) or to federal highway 470 (3 km west). Another communal road leads to Peppenhöchstädt (1.3 km north).

history

As in the whole of the Aisch Valley, the Nuremberg burgraves determined the fate of the region. From Neustadt an der Aisch as Vicedomitz they administered like Peppenhöchstädt also Traishöchstädt from 1285. The place was first mentioned on April 4th 1285 as "Trabishofestetten" when the Nuremberg burgrave Friedrich III. gave the place to the Archbishop of Cologne Siegfried as a fief. A significantly earlier settlement can be assumed. Agriculture, cattle breeding, hunting and especially fishing have been practiced for centuries. The systematically created ponds for carp breeding exceed the area by more than three times.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 16 properties in Traishöchstädt. The high court and the village and community rule exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste and jurisdiction office Dachsbach . The landlords were the Principality of Bayreuth (caste and jurisdiction office Dachsbach: 1 yard, 4 estates, 1 blacksmith's, 4 estates, 1 house; monastery office Birkenfeld : 1 yard), the parish Oberhöchstädt (1 estate) and the state alms office of the imperial city of Nuremberg (1 yard , 2 half courtyards).

In 1810 Traishöchstädt came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict, Traishöchstädt was assigned to the Kairlindach tax district in 1811 . In 1813 the tax district Birnbaum was formed, to which Traishöchstädt also belonged. In the same year the rural community of Traishöchstädt was formed, to which the towns of Arnshöchstädt , Gottesgab , Göttelbrunn , Peppenhöchstädt and Rohensaas belonged. With the second community edict (1818), the rural community of Traishöchstädt was split into

  • Peppenhöchstädt with Gottesgab and Rohensaas;
  • Traishöchstädt with Arnshöchstädt and Göttelbrunn.

The rural community Traishöchstädt was subordinate to the regional court Neustadt an der Aisch in administration and jurisdiction and in the financial administration to the Rentamt Neustadt an der Aisch (renamed in 1920 to Finanzamt Neustadt an der Aisch ). From 1862, Traishöchstädt was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office ( renamed Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court Neustadt an der Aisch until 1879, from 1880 district court Neustadt an der Aisch . The municipality had an area of 7.549 km².

On January 1, 1972, Traishöchstädt was incorporated into Dachsbach as part of the regional reform .

Today a dozen solar systems installed on the roofs with a total output of over 125 kW contribute to the power generation of Traishöchstädts. The residents are therefore resisting the planned erection of three 200 meter high wind turbines on the neighboring wooded hills.
