Gürsu is a town in the district of the same name in the Turkish province of Bursa and at the same time a district of the Büyükşehir belediyesi Bursa (metropolitan municipality / metropolitan province ) created in 1986 . The district is east of the center of Bursa.

The district, formed in 1990, is located in the center of the province and borders Nilüfer to the west, Gemlik to the north, Kestel to the east and south and Yıldırım to the southwest . It is located north of the E 90 , which crosses the city of Bursa from west to east and , coming from Çanakkale , leads to Ankara .
