Career
Gašper Krošelj began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK Slavija Ljubljana , for whose professional team he gave in the 2003/04 season in both the Slovenian ice hockey league and the Interliga . The goalkeeper then spent two seasons with the youth teams of the Slovak professional clubs HC VTJ Topoľčany and MsHK Žilina , where he ended the 2005/06 season at his ex-club Slavija. In the 2006/07 season he was on the ice for both Slavija and KHL Medveščak Zagreb . With the latter he became Croatian champion for the first time . With the Croats, he did not fall under the quota of foreigners, as he has both the Slovenian and the Croatian passport. The 2007/08 season bridged the former junior international again at Slavija in Slovenia's top division, before he moved permanently to Medveščak Zagreb in 2008, with whom he was again champion in 2009.
For the 2009/10 season Medveščak was included in the Austrian ice hockey league , in which Krošelj was used a total of 13 times in the main round and playoffs and advanced to the goalkeeper with the lowest average of goals conceded in the playoffs. He also played 14 games for Medveščaks second team in the Slohokej League and the Croatian championship and was champion for the third time with the team. In the 2010/11 season he was ten more times in the Austrian ice hockey league and eight times for Medveščak's new cooperation partner, the Zagreb team , in the Slohokej league, between the posts. For the 2011/12 season he received a contract in his Slovenian homeland at HK Jesenice . In January 2012 he joined AaB Ishockey from the Danish AL-Bank Ligaen . In the summer of 2012 he moved to his league rivals Herlev Eagles . But he stayed there for only one year, as well as with the Sparta Warriors from Sarpsborg in the Norwegian GET league and with IK Oskarshamn from the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan . In 2015 he returned to Medveščak Zagreb, where he was in goal in 26 games in the Continental Hockey League . In 2016 he did not get a new contract in Zagreb and therefore switched to HockeyAllsvenskan, the second Swedish division, to AIK Ishockey . For the club from Solna he played 26 games in the basic round in the 2016/17 season and achieved a catch rate of 90.7% and an average of 2.5 goals against. In the promotion round, Krošelj increased his values significantly, he achieved a catch quota of 93.2% and had an average goal conceded of 1.87. In 2017 Medveščak returned to the Austrian ice hockey league and signed Krošelj again. But already in December 2017 he joined the Rødovre Mighty Bulls from the Danish Metal Ligaen .
