Gabriele Rasbach

Gabriele Rasbach (* 1962 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German provincial Roman archaeologist .

Life

Gabriele Rasbach grew up in Frankfurt am Main and attended elementary school there from 1968 to 1972. After graduating from the Altkönig School in Kronberg im Taunus in 1981, she completed a commercial apprenticeship in the book trade by 1983.

From 1984 to 1989 she studied Greek and Roman history, prehistory and early history as well as art history at the University of Frankfurt . She completed her studies in 1989 with a master's thesis on the subject of annotated bibliography on grave finds in Lower Austria - Latène period to the early Middle Ages . From 1989 to 1990 she compiled the inventory of the finds from the Roman military camp Stockstadt in the Saalburg Museum in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe .
