The Gan Jiang ("Gan River"; Chinese 赣 江 , Pinyin Gàn Jiāng ) is the largest river in the Chinese province of Jiangxi .
It flows through Lake Poyang Hu and then into the Yangtze River . It has a length of 758 km and a catchment area of 81,600 km². It is Nanchang's main artery .
