The Miluo Jiang in Miluo

The Miluo Jiang ( Chinese  汨羅 江  /  汨罗 江 , Pinyin Mìluó Jiāng , English Miluo River ) is a river in northeast Hunan , which is one of the most important tributaries of the Dongting Lake ( Dongting Hu ), which flows further into the Yangtze River .

The Miluo Jiang has two headwaters: the eastern one has its source in Xiushui County in Jiangxi , the western one in Pingjiang County in Hunan . The city of Miluo lies on its lower reaches.

It is 250 km long and has a catchment area of ​​4053 square kilometers.
