The Gauliga Sachsen 1933/34 was the first season of the Gauliga Sachsen in football. The championship secured the Dresdner SC through the better goal difference in front of VfB Leipzig . Dresdner SC qualified for the final round of the German championship and was eliminated there after the group stage. The relegation ranks were occupied by Chemnitz BC , 1. Vogtland FC Plauen and SpVgg Falkenstein . Fortuna Leipzig and Sportfreunde Dresden rose from the district leagues .
