society

Puşcaş started playing football in Romania at CF Liberty Oradea in 2008 . For the 2012/13 season he moved on loan to second division club FC Bihor Oradea . There he made his debut in the men's division at the age of 16 and made 13 appearances in the second division, in which he scored 2 goals.

For the 2013/14 season, Puşcaş first switched to Inter Milan youth on loan . In addition to appearances in the A youth team (U19), he sat on the bench under head coach Walter Mazzarri in 5 Serie A games in November and December 2013 without being substituted on. Also in the 2014/15 season, before Inter Milan also acquired the transfer rights to him, Puşcaş was mainly in the U19 squad. At the end of January 2015 he made his debut under Roberto Mancini in the professional team when he was substituted on in a 2-0 win against Sampdoria Genoa in the Coppa Italia shortly before the end of the game. Under Mancini Puşcaş came to the end of the season on 4 missions (once from the beginning) in Serie A and a substitution in the Europa League .

In early August 2015, Puşcaş moved to the second division club FC Bari on loan until the end of the 2015/16 season . There Puşcaş came on 16 missions (9 times from the start) in Serie B, in which he scored 4 goals. He was also used once in the promotion play-offs and scored a goal. There, however, FC Bari failed to Novara Calcio .

For the 2016/17 season , Puşcaş moved within Serie B for a year on loan to Benevento Calcio . In Benevento he came 17 times (6 times from the start) in the league and scored 4 goals. In the subsequent play-offs for promotion, Puşcaş scored 3 goals in 4 games (all from the start) and thus had a large share in the promotion to Serie A. For the 2017/18 season , the loan was extended by one year. Even in his second season in Benevento Puşcaş could not prevail as a regular player. He made 11 Serie A appearances (7 from the start) by the end of January, in which he scored one goal.

At the end of January 2018, the loan from Benevento Calcio was terminated prematurely and Puşcaş switched to the second division club Novara Calcio on loan . By the end of the 2017/18 season , he had played in 19 league games (18 times from the start) and scored 9 goals.

For the 2018/19 season, Puşcaş moved within Serie B to US Palermo , where he received a contract with a term until June 30, 2022. There he was used in 33 league games (17 times from the start) and scored 9 goals. The US Palermo took 3rd place in terms of sport, but was sentenced by the Italian Football Association to a forced relegation to Serie C due to falsification of the balance sheet . After the club was taken against the verdict, the sentence was increased, bringing the club into the Series D relegated had.

In preparation for the summer of 2019, Puşcaş initially returned to Inter Milan and was used in friendly matches. At the beginning of August he moved to the English second division FC Reading , where he received a contract with a term until June 30, 2024. In the 2019/20 season , Puşcaş made 38 league appearances (30 times from the start), in which he scored 12 goals.
