Gerhard Krüger (born March 24, 1920 in Berlin , †  April 25, 1986 in Munich ) was a German cameraman .

life and work

Krüger attended the master school for graphics in the field of photography in Berlin. At the beginning of the 1940s, he began his career as a camera operator and camera assistant, among others with Oskar Schnirch .

After the end of the war he worked in these functions and as a simple cameraman as well as in One calls it love as co-cameraman under Werner Krien . He was involved in films such as Bonjour Kathrin (1956), The Trapp Family (1956) and Girls in Uniform (1958).

Veit Harlan's last film I will carry you in my hands was Kruger’s first assignment as sole chief cameraman in 1958.
