The Gerlebogker Teiche are a nature reserve in the town of Könnern in the Salzlandkreis in Saxony-Anhalt .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG 0083 is around 65.5  hectares in size. The area has been under protection since 1967 (date of regulation: September 11, 1967). The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Salzlandkreis.

The nature reserve lies roughly between Bernburg (Saale) , Köthen (Anhalt) and Könnern. It puts a silting pond landscape under protection and includes the Cörmigker pond, the Dreiselteich and the eastern bank of the Great Wiendorfer pond as well as the areas in between. The ponds are water-filled depressions created by the collapse of civil engineering fields . The water in the one to two meter deep ponds is quite salty, so that halophilic reeds and wet meadows can be found on the banks and in the vicinity .

The open water areas of the ponds are used by spawning communities and the like. a. Taken with horn leaf and comb spawn . In the silting zones, reeds with bittersweet nightshade dominate . On the meadows you will find salt bungees , swaths of salt , beach ledges , salt pond rushes and strawberry clover .

The nature reserve is of great importance for numerous birds who use it as a breeding, resting, wintering and feeding area. So breed here u. a. Marsh harrier , bittern , gray goose , teal , tufted duck , shoveler , red-necked grebe , Little Crake , warbler , reed and reed warbler and beard and Beutelmeise . Migrating bird species are z. B. purple and great egrets , whimbrel , pond and marsh creepers and white-winged tern . Ospreys and cormorants can be found in summer .
