On the south-central slope, hornbeam-field elm forest grows with summer linden, hazel root and forest grass , cowslip and field maple.

Sessile oak-hornbeam forest grows in deeper locations, in whose herb layer on fresh lower slopes bouquet-blooming usury flowers , bear pods , forest rennet , different-leaved fescue and spotted lungwort can be found.

The nature reserve has a species-rich avifauna . Almost fifty breeding bird species have been identified here.

The nature reserve is almost completely surrounded by arable land .
