The Gmina Liszki is a rural community in the powiat Krakowski of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name with around 1900 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality is located ten kilometers west of Krakow in the Krakow Highlands. To the waters belonging Vistula inflow Sanka . The Liszki community extends over an area of 72 km², 82 percent of which is used for agriculture and 5 percent for forestry.
history
Between 1954 and 1972 the villages belonged to the Gromada Liszki whose administrative seat was also in the village.
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality was part of the Kraków Voivodeship .
