Godzilla: A city on the edge of the battle ( Japanese GODZILLA決戦機動増殖都市 Gojira: Kessen Kido Zōshoku Toshi ) is a Japanese , computer-animated anime from the year 2018. Directed where the polygon and Toho produced studios film led kobun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita . The anime is the 33rd film in the Godzilla franchise, the 31st film produced by Toho, and the second animated film in the series. The film, released in Japan on May 18, 2018, is the sequel to the 2017 anime Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters .

At the end of the first part, when the giant Godzilla appeared, Miana saves the protagonist Haruo Sakaki. The girl turns out to be a member of the Houtua indigenous tribe, who have survived since Godzilla began to rule the earth. The Houtua tell Haruo that their god was destroyed by Godzilla, but that eggs are there. In the meantime, a metal has been discovered that can be used to make “Mechagodzilla” that was once destroyed on Mount Fuji .
