Geographical location

The wasteland of Goldberg is located on the slope of the 591 m high Goldberg near the German-Czech border.

Goldberg's neighboring towns are Tillyschanz in the east , Teufelstein in the south-west and Eslarn in the west.

history

On March 23, 1913 (Easter) Goldberg was listed as part of the parish Eslarn with one house and 7 residents. On December 31, 1990 Goldberg was uninhabited and belonged to the parish of Eslarn.

Culture and sights

To the west of the wasteland of Goldberg there is a small way of the cross on the road, which leads to a chapel that was built in 1985 in memory of a similar forest chapel in Karlbach .
