Coordinates: 58 ° 20 '  N , 12 ° 41'  O Grästorp is a municipality ( Swedish kommun ) in the west Swedish province Västra Götaland . The main town is the village of the same name, Grästorp .

history

Up until the second half of the 19th century there were no large settlements in today's municipal area. As a municipality, Grästorp only became independent in the course of the Swedish municipal reform in 1971.
