The Guatemalan men's national basketball team represents Guatemala in international basketball matches. The Guatemalan federation, unlike other Central American federations, joined the FIBA as early as 1949 , but the men's national team has had no notable success and was last able to qualify for the Central American basketball championship as the Central American finals in 2004 . The two participations in 2003 and 2004 were the only times after participating in the second finals in 1967 that the national team presented itself in an official FIBA ​​competition on a national level. As a result, no qualification for a continental or even global final has been achieved so far.
