The Nicaraguan men's national basketball team represents Nicaragua at international basketball games. The Nicaraguan Federation joined FIBA in 1959 , but the men's national team was only able to qualify for the Central American Basketball Championship as the Central American finals in 2012. A qualification for a continental or even global finals has not yet succeeded.
