The men's national basketball team of Honduras represents Honduras in international basketball matches. In contrast to other Central American associations , the Honduran federation joined FIBA as early as 1953 , but the men's national team has not had any notable successes and was last able to qualify for the Central American basketball championship as the Central American finals in 2001 . A qualification for a continental or even global finals has not yet succeeded.
