The Ecuadorian men's national basketball team represents Ecuador in international basketball matches. She was a participant in the first World Cup in 1950 , in which she reached eighth place. While she has never been able to qualify for the Olympic Games , she reached twelfth and last place in her only participation in the continental finals of the American Championship in 1989 .
