The HC Vita Hästen (German Hockey Club Weißes Pferd ) is a Swedish ice hockey club from Norrköping founded in 1967 . The team plays in the HockeyAllsvenskan .

history

HC Vita Hästen was created in 1967 from the merger of the ice hockey departments of IFK Norrköping and IK Sleipner and initially played officially as IF IFK / IKS, but was mostly referred to as Norrköping. In 1973 it was renamed IK Vita Hästen.

The team played regularly in the then second-rate Division 1 from the 1970s to 1990s . Since the turn of the millennium, the team has regularly competed in Division 1, which is now third class. There the HC Vita Hästen reached in the 2010/11 season and in the 2012/13 season the promotion relegation to HockeyAllsvenskan , but missed promotion. In 2014 he was finally promoted to HockeyAllsvenskan. In the 2014/15 season , Vita Hästen only missed the direct march into the Svenska Hockeyligan in the relegation .
