The Hainbach is according to the official version less than two kilometers long and southern right tributary of the United States .

geography

Brand donation water tank

course

The Hainbach officially begins according to the WFD viewer is a crossroads of the southwest Rastanlage Wetterau nearer water elevated tank Mautz meadow south and above Ober-Mörlen . A ditch from the southwest (about 200 m long) and another ditch from the south, coming from the A 5 / E 451 , which is about ⅔ km away , join the asphalt path in the south . The Mautzenwiese deep well , also from 1968, and the Tannenhof are located on this ditch . The ditch crosses under the asphalted Wintersteinstraße (from the motorway bridge to the Forsthaus Winterstein and further westwards) and comes down from the west side of the A5. Here pipelines from the drainage of the motorway and from the south a ditch that accompanies the motorway and partially runs on a fenced private property in the corridor "Auf dem Kaiser", where it describes a left curve (right curve, if from below, the mouth here, seen). The beginning of this ditch is found about ¼ km from the point where it meets the motorway, on a forest path that leads from the motorway in a north-westerly direction to Wintersteinstrasse . The ditch described appears to have a continuation to the southwest in a former ravine. Both parts of the trench leading to the Hainbach are connected by a low-lying culvert that prevents drains from following the path to Wintersteinstrasse in another trench. The geoportal of the state of Hesse allows the extension of the Hainbach to take this route and then along the Wintersteinstrasse. It extends its upper course by another ¾ km through the mixed forest in the corridor "In der Wann" in the former ravine. According to this, the Hainbach with a length of around 3½ km would be almost twice as long as shown in the WFD Viewer of the State of Hesse.

Turf pavers on the edge of the settlement

The first approximately 100 meters to the northwest accompanied the digging of the Hain Bach a hay meadow (hall "Am ducks engine") on the left and a fruit orchard (hall "In the Hainbach") to the right, the side, where its accompanying green stands (especially alder , interspersed with willow , hazel , ash , field maple , hawthorn , dogwood , dog rose and young specimens of the genera oak or walnut - their youth may be due to natural succession ). At the end of the orchard meadow, an overflow from the high water tank flows from the right, which feeds the stream with a minimal amount of water. After a bend in a north-north-westerly direction, a paved path joins its left side (hall 24 "Auf der Grindeiche"). The stream bed is partially secured with grass pavers . The Hainbach flows in flat right and left bends through a plot of land that is intended for the construction of a western local connection to the planned new construction of a local bypass of the federal highway 275 south around Ober-Mörlen, which is currently still from the nearby motorway connection "Bad Nauheim "leads through the village and westward into the Taunus . An OVAG natural gas transfer station has already been built on this plot of land, at about 0.65 km from the river . (A yellow metal post protrudes from the ground on Wintersteinstrasse, indicating that the high-pressure gas pipeline has been laid.) ¼ km further on, the Hainbach reaches the southwestern outskirts of Ober-Mörlen and passes under the B 275 in a passage. On its next 350 meters, up to an unpaved field path, it marks the outskirts of the village with the asphalt field path on the left bank, partly paved with grass paving stones, bridged several times by footbridges. His last 50 meters he crosses the Usa floodplain, on the left (west) accompanied by an unpaved dirt road, a separation from the farmland.

Bank vegetation and dirt road upper reaches

The Hainbach flows diagonally across from the former Hüftersheimer mill via a ramp from the right into the USA at km 12.5.
