The Harzer Försterstieg is a 60 km long, signposted and marked hiking trail in the districts of Goslar and Göttingen in Lower Saxony .

The hiking trail, newly created in 2010, leads from Goslar via Wolfshagen in the Harz Mountains , Lautenthal , Wildemann , Bad Grund (Harz) , Buntenbock and Lerbach to Riefensbeek-Kamschlacken near Osterode am Harz . The path leads past three dams in the Harz Mountains : Granetalsperre , Innerstetalsperre and Sösetalsperre .

The trail is marked with a green oak leaf.

Stages

The following sections of the route are proposed on the official website:

  • Goslar - Granetalsperre - Schäderbaude - Innerstetalsperre (15.5 km)
  • Innerstetalsperre - Vereinsplatz - Kalte Birke - Schnapsplatz (8.3 km)
  • Schnapsplatz - Tränkebachhütte - Luchsstein - Sternplatz (3.5 km)
  • Sternplatz - Brombergshöhe - Stundenbuche - Cellar - Spider - Roast pork - Taternplatz (9.4 km)
  • Taternplatz - Gewitterplatz - Kayser-Eiche - Lasfelder Tränke - Prinzenteich - Kuckholzklippe observation tower (11.8 km)
  • Lookout tower Kuckholzklippe - Buntenbock - Hundscher Weg - Mangelhalber Tor (5.5 km)
  • Lack-halber Tor - Sösevorsperre Dam - Riefensbeek-Kamschlacken - Kohlungsplatz (6.0 km)
