Heidi Swedberg (born March 3, 1966 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) is an American actress and musician .

Life

Swedberg was born in Honolulu, the youngest of four sisters, and grew up in Albuquerque , New Mexico .

Acting

After graduating from high school, she studied acting for three years at the University of New Mexico and then attended the Actors Theater of Louisville in Louisville , Kentucky for one year . During this time she got her first supporting role in Norman Jewison's 1989 film Back from Hell through an open audition . Several guest appearances in television series followed, such as B. in Matlock (1989), Back to the Past (1991) Brooklyn Bridge (1991-1992), A bouquet of daughters (1992) and Roc (1992-1993). Today she sings and plays the ukulele in her band Heidi Swedberg and The Sukey Jump Band. The band released the two albums PLAY! (2009) and My Cup of Tea (2013). Another band she plays in is the multi-instrumentalist group The Smoking Jackets.

Since 1994 she has been married to the cameraman Philip Holahan.
