geography

The wasteland is about 1.2 kilometers south of Seßlach an der Rodach .

history

It was first mentioned in 1071 as "Heinrichsdorf". In 1272 the monastery Langheim "Heinrichesdorf", a gift from Hermann von Orlamünde , ceded to the diocese of Bamberg . In 1412 Erhard von Lichtenstein received half a tithe for "Heynerstorff". Until the end of the 18th century, Heinersdorf was owned by the imperial-free lords of Lichtenstein. They were followed by those of Bibra . In 1840 two families lived in the place, which consisted of three closed estates with 116 acres of land.

According to the municipality edict of 1818, Heinersdorf was merged with Heilgersdorf , Setzelsdorf , Trammershof and Wiesen to form the municipality of Heilgersdorf. In 1862, the rural community was incorporated into the newly created Bavarian district office of Ebern .

In 1871 Heinersdorf had thirteen residents, three houses, one of which was uninhabited, with twelve buildings. The responsible Protestant parish and school was in Heilgersdorf, 3.0 kilometers away, and the Catholic parish in Seßlach, 1.5 kilometers away. The place consisted of two courtyards and a mill. In 1900 the rural community of Heilgersdorf with its five towns covered an area of 945.82 hectares, 500 inhabitants, 467 of whom were Protestant, and 89 residential buildings. Eleven people lived in two residential buildings in the hamlet of Heinersdorf. In 1925 the Heinersdorf desert had nine residents and two residential buildings and in 1950 twelve residents. In 1970 and 1987 the wasteland had thirteen and eight residents, respectively, and two residential buildings, each with one apartment.

On July 1, 1972, the Lower Franconian district of Ebern was dissolved. Heinersdorf has been part of the Coburg district since then . In the course of the Bavarian territorial reform , Heilgersdorf lost its independence as a municipality on May 1, 1978 and, like its district Heinersdorf, became part of the city of Seßlach.
