Hermann von Eichhorn

Karl Friedrich Hermann von Eichhorn (born March 12, 1813 in Berlin ; † May 3, 1892 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer in the Kingdom of Prussia . From 1872 to 1881 he was district president in the administrative district of Minden .

Life

Eichhorn 1831 be put Abitur at the Friedrich-Wilhelm Gymnasium in Berlin and studied from then on in Berlin at the Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Berlin and at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn total of six semesters jurisprudence . In 1843 he passed the auscultator exam at the Berlin Court of Appeal with the grade “sufficient” and in 1836 the exam for a trainee lawyer . In 1841 he passed the exam to become a government assessor with the grade "good". After that he probably served as a one-year volunteer in a Prussian regiment. In 1834 he was appointed auscultator at the Berlin Supreme Court. In 1837 he was hired as a trainee lawyer at the Berlin Superior Court. In 1837 he became a trainee lawyer with the government in Breslau . In the same position he was transferred to the government in Magdeburg in 1841 . In 1843 he was called to the Ministry of Finance in Berlin as an "unskilled worker" . In 1846 he returned to the Breslau government, where he was appointed to the government council in 1849 . From 1863 he served as a senior councilor and department director in the government in Opole . On June 14, 1872, he became the district president in Minden . On October 31, 1881 he was dismissed from the Prussian civil service.

The Protestant Eichhorn was married to Julie Schelling , the daughter of the philosopher Friedrich Wilhelm Joseph Schelling . Her son was Hermann von Eichhorn the Elder. J. , who was assassinated as Field Marshal General in Kiev .
